This one-on-one private tutoring lesson with the learner will allow for plenty of repetitious practise of their multiplication facts: Zero through 12 via rapid-fire flash cards, fun multiplication math games, and problem solving multiplication questions. This is an informal one-on-one private math tutoring class structured through the discussion and demonstration of tricks, tips and strategies to help the learner calculate the answer. The learner will be called upon to answer multiplication math questions with the aid of flash cards, multiplication math games or word problem-solving questions provided. Through these 3 formats, the learner will become more familiar with their multiplication facts 0 through 12. The learner will also have ample opportunity to ask questions and receive tips, tricks and strategies to calculate the answers easier. Through practise, the learner’s confidence will increase with each lesson creating an easier math journey for the learner. With each session, the format and content are learner-directed, dependent on learner-comprehension, learner-focus and participation . All multiplication levels are welcome for this private tutoring session as the lesson is structured to meet the needs of the learner whether it is initial learning, comprehension, recall, or confidence building in their multiplication facts. **Note** There will be no scheduled tutoring sessions for the following: October 31, Halloween November 28 and December 26 Boxing Day ( breaking for the holidays). Also please check the schedule as one of the options still open and listed is every other week instead of weekly. Thank you. I can not wait to help your learner with their multiplications.

The basic understanding of the multiplication facts 0 through 12 will be taught, reviewed and practised throughout the one-on-one private tutoring session with the learner, as directed by the learner. Repetitious one-on-one practise with the flash cards will help the learner with their confidence, comprehension, and recall of the multiplication facts in order to build upon their math principles as they continue in their math journey. Multiplication math games and problem-solving questions will be learner-directed, dependent on their comprehension, focus and participation with their multiplication facts, beyond the memorization component.

Hello families,
My name is Ms. Paula . I am excited to be your learner’s new teacher with Outschool. I am looking forward to our time together in class. My interests are vast, but I am focusing on math (multiplication more specifically) and tutoring sessions for learners that either want to learn, want to have better recall or build additional confidence in their multiplication facts. I love arts and crafts and being creative. I bring a creative twist to my classes. Respect, kindness and patience are important to me; these traits I bring to each class. With gratitude, I am in awe of the OutSchool platform that allows learners to really enjoy interesting topics presented in various ways for learner comprehension and fun.
My education background includes a Bachelor of Arts. My studies included a major in English and a minor in Psychology (a great learning base for working with learners of all ages). I value learning through fun and demonstration where open and respectful discussions can occur. My travel background taught me plenty, as I lived in Dubai as a flight attendant for several years where I further developed my interest in fitness: power walking and now running.
I am looking forward to meeting your learner in my class; a space for understanding, fun, respect and gratitude.
