Students will build confidence in their drawing skills through the use of basic geometric shapes and familiar symbols that are easy to form. Students will also reinforce an awareness of these geometric shapes and how we can recognize them in everyday objects.

I have taught art (along with various other subjects) for over 20 years with a B.A. in Art and an M.Ed. in Early Childhood Education. Over the years, I have noticed how much students enjoy drawing food items as subject matter. In the past when I have asked students what they want to draw, they always request more food items. It has been exciting for me to discover that they love this as much as I do.

Students will have access to the pre-recorded video lesson of what was covered in the live class to further review, explore and practice independently if they wish. Students will also be encouraged to color their milkshakes after our live meeting since the class will focus only on the drawing of several pieces. I would like to demonstrate the DRAWING of as many examples as time will permit.
