I have guided ESL students in reading and comprehension for over 5 years. As a former homeschool mom (grades 2, 3, and 6), I helped my own children improve their reading and comprehension skills.
-Learners should know basic letter sounds. -Learners should be ready to put letter sounds together to form CVC words (consonant-vowel-consonant).
Age appropriate reading material will be provided. It will be selected based on reading level, practice needed, and learner's interests. A list of titles to be used can be provided before class each week if requested.
