Students will practice recognizing and reading their second grade DOLCH sight words. Students will gain confidence and fluency in reading.

Teacher Angela has worked with children and youth for over 37 years

Varied and vast amount of experience including working as an Educational Assistant (25 years)

20 years in a Specialized Classroom in a Rehabilitation Hospital working with a team of Clinical Specialists, OT,PT,SLP, Teachers, and Doctors

Vast experience working with children with a wide variety of intellectual and behavioral challenges

Previous daycare owner and operator 

Specialized programs geared to elementary, division one, speech and language, behaviors

Experience working in a hospital environment , acute care, and children’s mental health unit

Involved in school divisions new focus, setting up mental health classroom in the community

Students in this class should be able to read CVC and CVCe words independently (as these will be used in the sentences along with first and second grade sight words).  Students should be at a first or second grade reading level.
