In this class, your child will learn to recognize the letters in the alphabet, along with the sounds that they make. By the end of the course your child should be able to recognize each letter, write each letter, and know the sound that they produce. In addition, your child may be able to read some CVC words. The class is taught in a fun and engaging way that includes movement, songs, video clips, and games. Your child should have paper and pencil nearby and there will always be optional practice sheets available to reinforce skills after the lesson.

Introduction to the Alphabet
Students will begin with a fun warm up, then we will dive right in to learning about 3 consonants and/or vowels each lesson. Students will learn the letter name, letter sound, and practice proper letter formation of the letters learned. There will also be story time, songs, and games to reinforce the new letters being taught. The first lesson will learn all about the consonants t, b, and f.
