Since this is a class about criminal law, it may deal with behaviors that are violent or socially unacceptable. The teacher will be sensitive to these subjects and will avoid overt details and/or descriptions that are not age-appropriate. The class will refer to criminal law topics found in the current headlines as featured on multiple news sources, such as The New York Times, The Washington Post, the Associated Press, The Wall Street Journal, BBC, The Economist, The New Yorker, The Atlantic and/or Reuters. These sources will be discussed in class and sometimes shown as a screen-share. Students will not be required to visit these sites during class.
