色彩理論入門: 子どものためのクリエイティブなカラーホイール

During this class, I will introduce students to basic color theory, which will include a brief overview of the physics of color and color mixing.
Students will use these techniques to invent their own 12-color "wheel". We will brainstorm ideas and students will sketch plans for their composition. Their finished, unique design will include the Primary, Secondary, and Tertiary Colors and these colors will be organized in the appropriate order and color groupings. 

For coloring their projects, students may use colored pencil, oil pastel, marker, or paint, depending on the style that they wish to achieve. I am happy to offer suggestions as to the best material a student should use if they are unsure. Students will need only the 3 primary colors: Red (Magenta), Yellow, Blue (Cyan) as they will be learning to mix color; however, since coloring mixing results vary depending on media and brand, students may have other colors available.
