Students will improve their understanding of Language Arts, Math, Social Studies, and Science Skills
Students will improve their social skills such as taking turns, asking questions, enjoying learning, and understanding themselves. 
Students will also be more inspired to engage with nature, more observant, and typically more focused after our courses.

I have been in love with teaching children since I was in grade school.  I have always known that I wanted to be a teacher and have spent my entire adulthood honing my teaching skills and growing in my love of learning.  I have had the honor of teaching my oldest daughter at home for the past 3 years and have expanded my approaches to learning through this experience.

We will be referring to stories of Norse Mythology during the first semester of class.  I will be using the text Norse Mythology For Kids: Tales of Gods, Creatures and Quests by Mathias Nordvig, PHD  
I will also be utilizing "The Tasks and Content of the Steiner-Waldorf Curriculum" Edited by Martyn Rawson, Tobias Richter and Kevin Avison to guide our lesson blocks
