This is a private harmonica lesson for beginner students and intermediate players of the diatonic harmonica. The student does not need to have any experience with the diatonic harmonica to book this session. 

Please indicate the amount of experience or knowledge the student has with harmonica. Are there any particular songs or inspirations the child has for learning the harmonica? 

I am a harmonica teacher with more than 15 years of experience playing and performing with the instrument. I have a patient, easy-to-follow teaching style. I break harmonica instruction into three categories that I call:
- solo "jam" style
- group "jam" style
AND
- melody style

The melody style is to learn a specific song in which the singing words are replaced by the melody of the harmonica. Group jam style involves "jamming" while I provide backing rhythm with my guitar or ukulele. I will provide guidance with all of these styles or we can focus on a specific style of performing harmonica.

- single notes on the harmonica
- chords on the harmonica
- rhythm 
- techniques (chugging, bending, slides, and trills) 
- music theory basics (as it relates to harmonica)
- learn a particular song on the harmonica that matches the student's skill level or a song the student wants to learn
- how to "jam" with the harmonica while playing with other musicians 
- how to beatbox while playing harmonica
