*An introduction to rates and ratios
*Solving basic algebraic equations and expressions
*Positive and negative integers
*Overview of the Distributive Property.

Having taught over 24 years of math in a full time classroom and hundreds of students, I know how to redirect confusion, stop-out misconceptions, and break down difficult concepts into small manageable pieces. I have worked with students of all levels and ages, and extensive trainings in multiple math programs and curriculums. I have Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction. My expertise is in bilingual and gifted education. 詳細: Students will have some VOLUNTARY independent practice after each class. This is require about 15-20 minutes after class.
