In this class feminism and fashion collide as students learn about bloomers and how bloomer pants led the way in dress reform. Students will critically think about how dress reform led to the suffrage movement. This class will be taught as a lecture and discussion. Students will learn and discuss: 
- the origins of the Bloomer movements and about Amelia Bloomer 
- the feminist movement of the time 
- Bloomers and the critique surrounding them 
- the importance of dress reform to the suffrage...
