週1時間. At least two of the lessons have an off-line project or research for the student to complete. All of the lessons have at-least one discussion question, or challenge activity within the lesson/video.

Assessments are integrated in the form of questions, discussions, and projects for learning. Parents have a choice of requiring additional learning activities and discussions for student's mastery of learning. If parents choose to require the activities and would like to submit for feedback, this can be scheduled. I will schedule live-video feedback for any projects as requested, by appointment.

評価

If a student is completing the course as part of a homeschool course or would like to have a letter grade assigned, all course projects, discussions, and assignments should be completed. By request, a certificate of completion with a letter grade will be issued.

Use of Scissors: If the course involves cutting activities, please provide age-appropriate, child-safe scissors. Ensure that your child understands how to use scissors safely, including keeping them pointed away from the body and using them only while seated. Supervise your child during these activities to prevent accidents. Safe Environment: Ensure that your child has a safe workspace that is well-lit and free from distractions or hazards. Keep the area clear of small objects that could be swallowed or sharp objects that could cause injury. Handling Craft Materials: Some activities may involve the use of glue, paint, markers, and other craft materials. Ensure that these materials are non-toxic and suitable for children. Supervise their use to prevent ingestion or misuse. Have your child wash their hands thoroughly after handling these materials.

Shoebox or small cardboard box (for the habitat model)
Construction paper, colored markers, crayons, or paint
Scissors, glue, and tape
Natural materials (twigs, leaves, rocks, sand, etc.)
Small toy animals or animal cutouts
Printouts or images of different habitats for reference
Optional: craft supplies (e.g., clay, cotton balls, pipe cleaners)
