What Topics Will be Taught? I designed this educational course with animal lovers in mind. All topics with a detailed description are listed in the syllabus for week-by-week information. How is your class structured? While I do love us using PowerPoints, this is far from a lecture style class. I give students the opportunity to develop critical thinking through open-ended questions and discussion. I will present the week’s topic while working with the students to ensure understanding. My class is far from boring. I encourage learners to ask any questions they may have and appreciate discussion among learners on the topic.

I have a strong knowledge of zoology through many animal science classes. I have also developed a curriculum that aligns with Next Generation Science Standards. This curriculum has been used with several middle schoolers and has been very successful.
When I was younger, I volunteered at an aquarium where I learned several things about marine life. One of my most important takeaways was conservation efforts that I learned from a conservation advocate. I would also participate as a leader for monthly youth nights where children of different ages came to learn about the animals through exciting enrichment activities. レビュー
