I've taught English for over 25 years in various settings, plus I've been a home school mom for the past 14 years.  I have seen many, many students lack a good grasp of basic grammar and writing skills, and it really shows when they get to high school (and higher levels) as they struggle with writing papers and essays.  Now is the time to use the language and writing skills that they know to form solid writing habits.  It's a great, practical life skill!

詳細: This class is set up to include homework time within the class time.  However, some assignments may require additional time out of class, such as research writing.  Learners will always have the opportunity to start homework within the class time.

詳細: All assignments will receive detailed feedback in writing or orally within the class session, pending the student has completed the assignment on time.

Learners will be given additional time and assistance as needed based on their skill level, ability level, and/or unique learning needs. Parents/learners are encouraged to share details about their learning needs prior to our first class.  

Learners must write at the sentence level minimally and have a good grasp of basic vocabulary to be able to express main ideas sufficiently.
