This is a 30-minute one-to-one tutoring session for any student seeking help on their homework or who needs help reviewing their elementary math skills, pre-algebra, or elementary geometry skills. I have taught math and science from middle school, through high-school college-prep, and tutored at the college level. In the over 20 years that I have been teaching, I have developed multiple approaches in order to accommodate learners with varied learning abilities, including those with ADHD, dyslexia, or math anxiety. I worked with the Strategic Alternative Learning Techniques (SALT) program at the University of Arizona for the four years I attended the university and have worked with at-risk teens as well as those deemed gifted and talented (GATE program). I do affirm that all students are gifted and talented if given that presumption.
