The methods used in this program are based on the Orton-Gillingham approach, in that, every sound and spelling rule is taught in a structured, cumulative manner with repetition. Students must purchase "A Workbook for Dyslexics" by Cherly Orlassino. You may find it on Amazon or at used bookstores. You may get the Third Edition, Large Print, or a newer copy. The Second Edition may also be used but may have some concepts or activities that are significantly different from what we will be using in class.
