Week 1Lesson 1Create a Heart GardenIn this one-time class, students will learn how to draw several flowers with heart shaped "blossoms." Through the step-by-step guided drawing process provided by the teacher, students will use simple lines and shapes and add their choice of details to make a one-of-a-kind drawing!
As a licensed art teacher, I have developed techniques for breaking down drawing lessons into simple, easy-to-follow steps. Once we get the basics done, I give my students freedom to complete their project using their own imagination, thereby giving them the opportunity to take what I have taught them to a different, fun and creative level.
Paper (heavier paper, such as watercolor paper, is recommended if your child wishes to use watercolor pencils or paint) pencil, eraser, pencil sharpener Sharpie or similar permanent black marker Color media of choice: crayons, markers, oil pastels, gel pens, colored pencils, watercolor pencils, watercolor paint, or any combination
