このクラスで学べること

米国の学年 6 - 8
Each week, students will conduct laboratory investigations to learn about different concepts through laboratory experiments that are safe to do at home.

In week 1, students will learn what lab practices should be used, as well as what STEM education is and how to learn through hands on approaches and guide learning independently.

In week 2, students will learn about states of matter, and how different chemicals interact with each other to observe physical changes and chemical changes.

In week 3, students will learn about electricity and how energy is created from a closed circuit.

In week 4, students will investigate different properties of rocks and minerals including luster, shine, malleability, density, and magnetism.
I have been a middle school science teacher for 10 years, and have obtained a Bachelors in Elementary Education with licensure in Middle School Science and High School Biology. I have a Masters in Science Education 6-12 grade and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership, which also focuses on scientific investigation processes while conducting research and ethics behind research and safety practices to ensure safe and fair investigations. I have also taught Elementary Education and worked as a STEM instructor for over 10 years through STEM initiative schools, teaching students how to learn through hands on and student lead investigations. I have conducted all labs listed in this class in my own classroom, and review safety practices for every lab.
宿題が提供されます
