Join us each week to share your progress, get feedback from other writers, and be inspired and challenged to grow as an author. - Students will plan and complete a work of fiction. - Students will learn to share their writing with a community and advocate for their perspective and authorial voice. - Students will engage in positive critique and question and answer sessions. - Students will develop in their writing skills and confidence.
I've been a writing teacher for more than thirteen years and have written nine novels, numerous short stories, and several role playing games. I have a lot of experience as not only an author, but a collaborator and coach for creative storytelling. I have held workshops for jumpstarting creative writing at multiple conventions, ranging from small 5 person writing intensives to presentations to an audience of over 200 aspiring authors.
Students are encouraged to upload their writing to the Outschool classroom.
