For the past 4.5 years, I have worked at a college as the Program Coordinator Sr. of Developmental Education. During this time I ran the Learning Labs (tutoring centers) on all five sites, helped students become college level in math and English, created boot camps and workshops on basic math topics, and taught developmental math classes. What I experienced is that most students who struggle with math, struggle with the basic foundations of math. I now want to focus on making sure students enter college with these skills.
