We will learn Pinyin and Chinese culture in the first 6 classes, Then, Learn 30-50 basic Chinese vocabulary items, simple sentences, and Chinese culture by using Pinyin in the rest of 6 classes. 

Tentative Schedule:
- Pinyin Learning part ( Lesson 1 - 6 ):
Focus on gaining the Language skill: being able to use Chinese pronunciation tool Pinyin). 
Learning 23 initials(声母) and 39 finals (韵母). At the end of the 6th class, students are able to pronounce initials and finals correctly; Students are able to combine initial and finals by following rules and pronounce syllables（拼读音节) correctly; students are able to read a short story by using Pinyin. 

- Vocabulary and Sentences Learning part (Lesson 7-12):
Focus on gaining speaking and listening skills.
Lesson 7: Numbers in Chinese. Students are able to say 0-10 in Chinese correctly and recognize the shape of each Chinese character. 
Lesson 8-9: Colors in Chinese.  Lesson 8, we will learn basic colors, such as red, blue, yellow, green, black, white. Lesson 9, we will learn more color through a song. Also, students will learn sample sentences from the song. 
Lesson 10-11: Animals in Chinese. We will learn around 12 vocabulary items around a zoo tour, and know Chinese 12 zodiacs.
Lesson 12: Review. We will go over the vocabulary items we learned in the class through a story. And students are able to recognize all items and greeting in Chinese.
