This class is geared toward students who are just beginning to read long vowels, vowel digraphs, irregular, and r controlled vowels. Most word families are long vowels, but some fall into those other categories. Most students at this level are probably Kindergarten, First, or Second Grade. Students will improve their decoding skills of long vowel words, vowel digraphs, and r controlled vowels. Students will learn consonant blends. Students will improve their fine motor skills through craft projects and games. Students will have fun!

This is a flexible learning class schedule, so all work is essentially "homework" you will do on your own time. Expect to spend about 45 min per week on the class content and then I would strongly suggest additional time practicing reading the words.評価が提供されます

Handouts will be provided to print each week. Students will need some basic craft supplies (crayons, glue, scissors, a toilet paper roll, some yarn, paper plate, clear tape)
Parents/caregivers may need to help with scissors, glue, and other small motor skills depending on the age and maturity of the student. Videos are hosted through youtube links
