Have you ever wondered why we have three branches of government? Or, why they have separate powers, responsibilities, and tasks? Maybe you want to know what each branch is responsible for? This is the class for you! Our three branches of government work together and share all the many tasks and responsibilities necessary to run a democracy. Their shared power is purposeful! We will dive into these topics as we walk through this class. I will share a Google Slides presentation with text and...
Students will have a better understanding of each of the three branches of the U.S government and how they work together with shared power.
As with all of my classes, we talk about subjects that sometimes tinker on sensitive subjects (race, racism, sexism, government, etc.). I will always deliver my classes with truth and not opinion. I fully respect your home, your family, and your views and will never teach a class that would cause your student to question those things. Neutrality and unbiased classes only!
We will refer to facts, processes, and definitions several times throughout this class. I have referenced Kids.Britannica to ensure my information is on par with other websites that deliver content to children. Through out my Google Slides presentation, you'll find dynamic graphics, eye-popping color and engaging visuals. We ask questions, we, collectively, try and come up with those answers. When defining the three branches, I am using neutral facts, thoughtful questions, and actual definitions. I will never deliver this class - or any class - from a politically biased standpoint, skewed cultural view, or partisan stance. I believe that U.S history and government related topics are crucial for our children, and I respect your position as their parents to determine how you feel about those things. Therefore, my content is factually sound, neutrally delivered, and encompasses fairness, balance, and gentleness.
