In this one time class we will learn about Frida Khalo. After short introductions there will be a brief discussion about Frida Khalo and Surrealism. Next there will be a step by step demonstration of how to recreate one of her famous art pieces called Viva La Vida. Slides will be used as visuals. The lesson will also include stories about Frida Khalo to teach art in an age appropriate way. Learners will be able to interact with the teacher and the other learners throughout the class by asking questions and making comments. Students will also be able to share their art and talk about it at the end of the class. No prior knowledge or art skills are needed for this course.
