In this class, I hope to provide a positive learning environment where the student will feel comfortable and safe to interact with other students. This class will have discussions on what is happening in all the American sports such as MLB, NBA, AND NFL. These discussions will include things like record standings of each sport, free agency, and different news. While the class is going on students will have multiple opportunities to interact with the class. During our discussions, learners will be developing their communication and listening skills while building friendships along the way. This class will be learner-directed so each week our discussion will be guided by the students on what sports they would like to talk about during the lesson.

week of 01/25: MLB trade rumors 
week of 02/01: Super bowl predictions 
week of 02/08: The standings of the NBA
week of 02/15: Free agent rumors of the NFL
