上級位取り記数法

I will be teaching students how to read and write large numbers up to 100 million.  We will be using methods I learned from the Making Math Real Institute.  I will provide an advanced place value chart that we can use to practice reading and writing numbers.  I like to relate math to things the students already know and understand. The class will be interactive with students getting a chance to practice the place value skills they have learned. If time allows we may watch a fun place value video to reinforce the concept.
