Do you love all things fashion? Do you feel like your fashion designs skills are ready to be taken to the next level? This Advanced course will explore fashion poses and drawing styles, while creating new and unique designs using pencil and ink. In this class, students will warm up using line drawing and then, collectively choose a figure pose and will be taken through step by step instruction to draw the pose using proportion and composition techniques. Learners will explore depth, line and direction when designing their fashion. By the end of this one time course, learners will be equipped with new tools and skills to expand their future fashion design drawings. Teaching Style: I like to discover strengths and what they might want to improve. My main goal in each of my classes to help each student achieve their creative potential. Experience: All fashion designer and artists welcome :) Fashion Drawing experience is an asset, this course is designed to follow my Introduction to Fashion Design and Drawing: Create your signature style class -- taking this course is not a prerequisite. Hello Parents and Students! My name is Charlene and I am a teacher here at Outschool! I have a Masters in Arts Management and a Bachelor of Arts in both Fine Arts and History. I have been teaching for 10 years in schools and art galleries to children aged 3 - 17 in ESL, Drama, and Art. I am certified in Art Therapy.
In my classes we explore drawing, painting and mixed media techniques in addition to learning the history of art and fashion. I work with each student individually -- no matter the class size, together we consider their creative style and celebrate their individual artistic mark.
