Students will be able to: 
- add, subtract, multiply and divide positive and negative integers
- use integer rules to perform operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) with rational numbers
- solve one and two step equations
- use angle relationships to solve for unknown angles
- set up and solve a proportion
- use scale factor to find unknown side length

I am a middle school math teacher.  I have been teaching at the middle school level for nine years.  I am very familiar with the middle school math standards and the prerequisite skills that students need in order to be successful in middle school.

Each learner will be assessed informally during the class by answering questions and responding to questions posed by the instructor.  Scores from informal assessments will also be used to track student progress.
