It's no secret that kids love animals! Each week, class will begin with a brief video of facts about an animal of the week (see the breakdown below). Then learners will play a game in the style of Family Feud, Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy, Tic-Tac-Toe, or an escape room to test their knowledge. All games will be through screenshare only and alternate each week. Students will not need a separate monitor or device to play. Family Feud style games - I have surveyed students aged 5-14 to ask their favorite animal in each major animal class. In round 1, learners will guess the top answers and learn a fact about the animals that are revealed. In round 2, learners will guess various characteristics of the animal class. Wheel of Fortune style games - Learners will call letters one by one to reveal the answer to the puzzle. The answer will be a word associated with the animal of the week that describes its habitat, diet, or characteristic. Jeopardy style games - Learners will answer questions about the animal of the week's habitat, diet, or characteristic. Tic-Tac-Toe style games - Learners will play a variation of the game Tic-Tac-Toe by selecting a space and answering the question correctly to win the space. Escape room games - Learners will play various activities related to the animal of the week to escape danger. Experiencia y certificaciones del docente
We believe that learning can be both educational and enjoyable. We strive to instill this mindset in all of our learners and empower them by creating engaging content, enabling the application of learned concepts to real-world situations. By bringing skills to life, learners gain practical experience and develop confidence, not just for the present or class session, but throughout their entire lives.
Henry Adams once said, "A teacher affects eternity; he can never tell where his influence stops." Embracing this belief, our teachers wholeheartedly dedicate themselves to fulfilling this duty. They endeavor to make a lasting impact on the lives of each student they cross paths with, aware that their influence extends far beyond the boundaries of the shared classroom.
Our teachers approach every class with the same dedication as if they were teaching their own child, striving to cultivate a warm, supportive, and enjoyable environment that nurtures each individual learner's success and growth. Building meaningful connections with students and genuinely caring about their success are crucial aspects of our teaching approach.
