This 6-week, 12-lesson writing course is designed to inspire writers in grades 4 to 6. The course focuses on enhancing the step-by-step writing process, helping learners build their skills, techniques, and confidence in writing. Each unit will feature engaging guided lessons culminating in a collaborative slideshow presentation.

Students will learn to create compelling narratives, informative reports, and persuasive arguments while developing essential language skills and creative presentation techniques. For consistency and reinforcement of the concepts learned, each unit will follow the same 3-lesson format (detailed in the syllabus).

In the final class, we will present the writings included in our slideshow presentation, showcasing the final slide from each unit. Our writings will comprise an expository piece, a persuasive argument, and a narrative. Each learner will receive a copy of our final project, which will not include any personal information or pictures.
