Detectives are invited to join the fun as we explore word work skills and solve riddles. They will choose which word work skill they would like to explore. Using a multimedia interactive learning guide, detectives will use videos and interactive activities to answer questions that will reveal clues to help solve their riddle. Once registered for the class, detectives will tell me which word work skill they’ve chosen to explore. I will send them a link to the appropriate LINKtivity® Interactive Learning Guide and the student activity page. After exploring, detectives are encouraged to check out the "Show What You Know" section in the classroom. *This is a one-week, learner-directed SELF-PACED class. Learners can only choose one word work skill to explore in each class. If they would like to explore more than one, they are welcome to register for the class again. I encourage them to explore them all! List of Word Work Skills Offered: (only one word work skill can be chosen per class) Compound Words Contractions Homophones Multiple Meaning Words Prefixes Shades of Meaning Suffixes Syllables Synonyms & Antonyms *The list will be updated as more word work skills become available, so please check back. *LINKtivity® Interactive Learning Guide is a fun and interactive multimedia learning guide that will keep learners engaged and motivated with kid-friendly videos, audio clips, graphics, photographs, and more that put them in control of their learning process. Each LINKtivity® has audio support to read the text to students so they can focus on learning. There are also interactive activities built in so students can monitor their own understanding. No account is required to access the LINKtivity®. The LINKtivity® DOES NOT ask for any information from the student. *Note: This is a SELF-PACED class. There will be NO live meetings. We will do everything using videos, pictures, and posts in the classroom. *REFUND POLICY: Once the material has been sent to the learner, there will be NO refunds issued. If your learner changes their mind and wants to choose a different word work skill, they are welcome to register for the class again. I encourage them to explore them all! Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions.
