The materials for this course will vary by student request. Here is a list of different women throughout history that we can focus on each session. This list is subject to change as there are many other women in history that can be discussed.
Ancient World: Artemisia, Hatshepsut, and Cleopatra.
Middle Ages: Christine De Pizan and Joan of Arc. 
Early Modern World: Pocahontas, La Malinche, Elizabeth I, Mary Queen of Scots, Mary I, Isabella I of Castille, Catharine of Aragon, Anne Boleyn (any wife of Henry VIII), Catharine De Medici, and Marie Antoinette.
Modern World: Victoria I, Elizabeth II, Harriet Tubman, Emmeline Pankhurst, Anne Frank, Sojourner Truth, Rosa Parks, Susan B Anthony. 

In recent decades, historians have worked to uncover the story of women throughout history. I believe it is important to hold space for the important women who have come before us.
