In this one-time class, preschool students will practice counting fun winter animals and objects! We practice counting to 30 together. Then, students will practice counting between 1-10 objects together and independently. We will play games to find the number of items. We will also find the missing number. We will find the missing item in a pattern of fun winter objects as well! In this class, we will have fun practicing numbers and counting! Learners should be able to recognize some numbers and count a little before coming to class.

I have experience working with children of all ages, teaching, and making lesson plans. I have a B.S. in Elementary Education with an English minor from Pensacola Christian College in Pensacola, FL (2015). After graduating, I taught full time in first grade and K4 for two years at Pensacola Christian Academy in Pensacola, Florida, where I taught all subjects. This school has a specialized focus on early reading and phonics, so I have strong experience in those areas. I then taught ESL online for over four years. I have also been homeschooling my preschool-age daughter for the last two years. I love teaching and working with students of all ages, and I am excited to be an Outschool teacher! I am passionate about helping young students excel in reading, phonics, and grammar. I am interested in teaching elementary-age children, especially ages 5-7. I have experience teaching early reading and phonics, as well as grammar. I believe that reading is the gateway to all learning and want to give young students a strong foundation, which will help them in all areas of their lives.
