En este campamento/club social de 4 semanas, los estudiantes explorarán un tema invernal diferente cada semana incorporando artes del lenguaje, matemáticas, ciencias, artes y habilidades sociales.

Brrrr…it’s getting cold outside! This is the perfect time to explore the many wonders of winter in this 4-week camp/social club that incorporates language arts, math, science, and art activities. Students meet once a week for 30 minutes each time to socialize and interact with each other while learning about the Winter season! The class will provide students an opportunity to learn more about each daily theme as per our schedule below. I am a former Kindergarten teacher (now stay-at-home-mom/online educator) and thematic teaching is my jam! In my classes, students will have a blast while learning at the same time! Come join us and I am looking forward to meeting each of you. See below for the themes we will learn each week: Day 1-Gingerbread Day 2-Mittens Day 3-Snow Day 4-Wreaths My teaching background is Preschool/Kindergarten and I also have young children so I know how important it is to have interactive classes! I have designed all of them to be fun and engaging for young learners. We will listen, share and read together all while having fun! These classes also provide a great opportunity for some social interaction with age-appropriate peers.

Hi everyone! My name is Lisa and I reside in the Lone Star State also known as Texas. I am a graduate of Baylor University and received a Bachelor of Science in Education degree. I also received my Master of Education degree from The University of Texas. I love working with Preschool and Elementary aged students that are at all ability levels! Special Education still holds a dear place in my heart and was my focus during college and graduate school. I am currently a stay at home mom of two young sons but before that, I worked for 13 years in a public elementary school. I taught PPCD (Preschool Program for Children with Disabilities) for 3 years and Kindergarten for 10 years until I had my first son. Currently, I am an online ESL teacher and have been with the company since the summer of 2019. I enjoy helping teach students English! I am TEFL certified as well.
My passion for teaching came from having a younger brother with special needs. I loved working with him to help make his life as best as our family could. He is the reason I chose the major I did. Along my journey to becoming a teacher, I realized how much I enjoyed working with young children and helping them learn as much as they can to succeed. When I am not teaching students online or my boys at home, I enjoy traveling, reading, dancing and being active with my family. I am so honored to be an Outschool Teacher and appreciative of this opportunity.
