In this three-day summer break book club camp, third-grade students will read The Christmas Pig by J.K. Rowling and come to class to discuss fun reading comprehension questions, and guess puzzles. Class will begin with a fun warm-up Christmas-related question to get everyone engaged and ready to participate. The teacher will then guide students through a series of multiple-choice and critical-thinking questions based on the reading schedule. By utilizing a finger-voting system, all students can answer multiple-choice questions at the same time. For critical thinking questions, students will raise their hands and take turns sharing their thoughts. Throughout the class, students will get a "brain break" as we return to the lesson puzzle and students guess the secret puzzle!
