Serie Vida Silvestre en Acuarelas

In this six week series, students will have the opportunity to explore depicting various forms of wildlife. Two classes will be dedicated to each project. While the first week of each project will be focused on the under drawing aspect, students should still have their watercolor materials ready as some of the beginning stages of the watercolors may occur in the first class as well. Students will have room to be creative in their piece. We will explore a foundational watercolor techniques including using effects of using salt and rubbing alcohol, incorporating colored pencils and creating different kinds of markings. 
I will draw and paint along with the students and use powerpoint slides as a tool to guide us. I will check in with students along the way.  Students are encouraged to show their work but if they don't feel comfortable, their choice not to do so will certainly be respected. I am best able to help students whose work I am able to see.
