This class is a fun and engaging way for students to learn about U.S. States and guess which one it is! They will be given clues related to 10 different states and will guess what each one is. This class will be a shared slide show from my screen.  We will also use Kahoot! to guess each state. I will give your learner the Kahoot! code when class starts.  This will work best if your learner has a separate device to use with Kahoot!  This is such a fun and engaging class!

There are so many interesting facts to learn about states! We will learn the capital, the location, and what each state is famous for. 

In Section 1, we will focus on Texas, New Jersey, Arizona, Florida, Nevada, Tennessee, Montana, Colorado, Oklahoma, and Rhode Island.

There will be lots of opportunities for interaction during this fun class!

Hi! My name is Jana Glosson and my passion is teaching children! I have a Bachelors degree from the University of Texas and am certified to teach EC-6 in Texas. I have over 5 years experience teaching in public and private schools, teaching all ages from Early Childhood through 6th grade. I also have 2 years of online teaching experience.  I enjoy scrapbooking, painting, sewing, quilting, cross stitching, card-making, mixed media and most of all, teaching! Before getting my teaching certification,  I owned a scrapbooking store in Texas and created and taught hundreds of fun and creative classes. I love building confidence in learners and watching them express their creativity!  I look forward to meeting your leaner!
I believe that Art is a wonderful way to express your feelings and thoughts. Being creative is a great outlet for learners of all ages. I love helping others find their creative voice and learn new things. 
I live in Texas with my husband, two boys and a dog named Snoopy!
