Beginning Preschool is design to offer students both a circle time and small group experiences that are commonly found in a preschool classroom.  Each week the teacher will teach the curriculum content through the use of a theme related activities. 

During the class the students will participate in circle time. Circle time will consist of greeting song, name identification activity, the day of the week, and weather.

Students will play learning games that will focus on counting, number identification, colors, and letters.  The the teacher will also use worksheets, flannel board rhymes and songs in the class to reinforce the learning content. 

On the last day of class each week we will have show and tell. Each child can select one item to share with the group during the class. This time of sharing will help the students build their confidence, language skills and turn taking skills.   

This class does not meet the week of Nov. 23,2020. Schedule days may differ during the weeks of  Dec.21 and Dec. 28, 2020.
