Each week, we will discuss an important historical figure or event in this class. The class will include storytelling, lots of discussion, short videos, slideshows, and games. A majority of the course will be spent interacting with one another while developing a love of history. Multiple viewpoints are presented through the use of primary and secondary sources. I have over twenty years experience working with and teaching students. I have a bachelor's degree in both History and Economics. My master's degree is in Higher Education. I also have a juris doctorate degree in Law. Most importantly, I have a passion for teaching, history in particular!
There may be some political and historical events that will be sensitive in nature. All discussions will be kept at an age-appropriate level. All external resources will be used via the link provided by the teacher during class. Learners are not required to have an account.
