Diary of a Wimpy Kid takes tween readers along on "The adventures of a 12-year-old (Greg Heffley) who is fresh out of elementary and transitions to middle school, where he has to learn the consequences and responsibility to survive the year." -IMDB Class will begin with a short and fun warm-up to engage students and get everyone in the space to participate. Students will then be guided through a series of multiple-choice and open-ended questions for full comprehension of the book plot. Through a finger-voting system, all students will have the ability to answer at the same time by submitting their answers via finger number. Throughout the class, students will be awarded a "brain break" puzzle which will keep them eagerly guessing till the end of class! I have a cranky grey Tabby cat named Potter, a codependent Rat Terrier named Pippen, a distinguished orange Tabby cat named Salinger, a sweet Cockatiel named Poppy (who loves to give kisses and say "baby bird" & "peek-a-boo!"), and two precocious children (ages 14 and 17).
