Creaciones de gatos guerreros FLEX

Warrior Cats fans are passionate about this series!  It activates creativity and imaginative thinking.  

In this FLEX class we'll be working collaboratively each week to create a Warrior Cats Clan and each student will get to create their own Original Character to play with in role play scenarios during the last 2 weeks.  This is a FLEX class however, it is still highly interactive and will be personalized to the students in the class. 

This class  will be using a Nearpod lesson as an interactive technology.  The student will receive weekly instructions in the Outschool classroom, including the code for the weekly Nearpod lesson.  They will access the Nearpod lesson at their convenience each week by going to the web page: join.nearpod.com and entering the code.  The Nearpod lesson is interactive with collaboration boards for us to gather our ideas together and create a "virtual" conversation. There will also be regular polls for voting on different aspects of our clan.

Week 1: Introductions and getting to know each other.  Sharing our favorite things about Warrior Cats.
Week 2: Begin Creating a Warrior Cat Clan - Territories
Week 3: Begin Creating your OC (Original Character) and Naming our Clan
Week 4: Begin Choosing positions within the clan for our OC's
Week 5: Write Your OC's backstory and begin talking about the culture of our clan
Week 6: Clan details are finalized and we begin to talk about role play scenario's
Week 7 & 8: Role playing different scenarios through the collaboration boards

Students are welcomed and encouraged to share their original stories and original artwork in the Outschool classroom as well.
