Vocabulario: ¡Instrucción sólida, práctica y diversión con palabras!

This one-to-one class will be a deep dive into the vocabulary that your student needs to master. Some examples of class content could include:
-Vocabulary work from another class
-Studying words for a diagnostic test
-Word Masters lists
-Vocabulary needed for an upcoming debate, or 
-Any other word list including ones I can provide 

I will prepare varied contexts and practice activities that will enable the student to retain and use their target words in their reading, writing, and everyday life. While I am not trained in ESL, the class may be helpful to EL learners as well. The class will be led by the needs of the individual student and their word lists, OR if general vocabulary work and knowledge is the goal, I will provide grade level or appropriate words for the work. 

I have a very energetic and conversational teaching style that will help students to be able to really get to know these words and use them. I use a variety of methods for instruction including direct instruction in word definition, context, and analogies as well as fun games and oral and written activities that help the student think deeper and really LEARN the vocabulary instead of memorizing them for the short term.
