Did you know summer break is December and January in Costa Rica? Learn fun facts about the country while creating a poster! We will learn about the food, language, and music of Costa Rica. We will also learn to play a game that is played by children growing up in Costa Rica as well as learn about the celebrations (how is our Christmas different from theirs?). You will get to see photos of some of the most beautiful places in Costa Rica, and we will talk about where you would visit if you got the chance to see Costa Rica. Students will be encouraged to draw pictures of some of the things they are learning during class on a large piece of paper. At the end, they can share what they learned by showing us their poster and telling us what is on it.
