We will cover the basics of video editing in this class, including importing video files, using the editing timeline, trimming videos, putting several clips together, using transitions, inserting text over the video, adding music, exporting, and more. We will use the program Filmora created by Wondershare. 

If students need more advanced tips such as blurring, motion tracking, speeding up or slowing down videos, creating introductions, compression, etc., they can still book this class and send a message about their project and what they need help with.  

Students should have the software Wondershare Filmora downloaded and installed on their computer, as well as all video files accessible on the computer, before coming to the session. 

**Please note that the bulk of my experience is on a Windows computer. If you have a Mac, Filmora is compatible and likely similar; however, there may be some differences we will have to work out.**
