Canciones para el día de San Valentín: ukelele para principiantes

In this beginners' ukulele class, we learn to play the ukulele while playing different nursery rhymes and children's songs. We will learn how to strum different rhythm patterns and hold 2-3 chords. This class is great for children who are total beginners or who have already played the ukulele before but are beginners.

Children will have the opportunity to ask questions, play rhythmic games, answer questions, repeat the songs in different ways (fast, slow, loud, quietly, etc)  and play songs on the ukulele.

Children can join in whenever they want to and also drop off.

𝗣𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗦𝗘 𝗡𝗢𝗧𝗘:
*This is a class for children who are ukulele beginners or have never played the ukulele before and want to try a class and see if they enjoy playing. The class is a mixture of direct teaching and student free-improvisation and exploring the instrument, as well as some basic music fundamentals.

𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗴𝗼 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗰𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀:
- how to hold a ukulele;
- correct playing position;
- correct hand position;
- how to count and play the ukulele;
- how to strum simple patterns
- how to hold the C Major chord, F Major, A minor and G7 Chords as well, depending on the student's ability.

𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀 𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗻 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗰𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀:
♪  strum at different tempos (fast and slow)
♪  strum with different dynamics: loud, quiet, from quiet to loud building momentum;
♪  how to follow strumming and picking patterns (with animals and colours for children who can't read yet);
♪  how to play children's songs.

This lesson is for students with a soprano, concert or tenor ukulele.
