In this class, we will learn about and create an acrostic poem. We will space it out on a piece of paper and practice our nicest handwriting. We will look at some different ways to make the first letter of each word fancier. Students will have the option to use different colors as they write. 

We will use the recipient's name for the poem and brainstorm things that they love about that person using the letters in that name.

We will do some quick introductions at the beginning of class, do a supply check, and then dive into our project. As students finish, they will have time to decorate their page.

I love to build a rapport with the students. We talk amongst each other throughout class. We bounce ideas off of each other. We have fun while focusing on the task at hand.

No prior experience or knowledge is necessary.
