This one hour class will cover evaluating expressions, algebraic equations, formulas, area, and volume problems that are covered in middle school. We will cover how to understand formulas.  Learners will engaged in class by me explaining the problem, and then they will do problems. We will do the "I do, you do, we do" method. We will think about how we can solve problems middle school style. Students will watch 2 fun video clips.  Class will end with a game where there be able to test their comprehension of the facts.  After finishing this class, students will be more confident in their problem solving abilities and how to tackle a formula.
