Nivel Beginner
Together, we're going to learn ukulele basics while learning to play some favorite songs. We will cover all your favorite ukulele songs, chords, and strumming patterns. Students will be introduced to a new song each week, and will also have plenty of chances to review and apply new material through activities that support learning. All classes are recorded. This is a beginner-intermediate class, and no background knowledge is required! Playing an instrument is a skill, and the more practice a student puts in, the more progress they will make. So, while homework is not required, practice is highly recommended for students who want to learn to play the ukulele.

For younger students, parents may need to help with the tuning, covered in the first lesson (classes are recorded and parents can watch afterward, if necessary). Tuning before each practice session is helpful but can be tricky.

I will provide a 20 page booklet and all needed worksheets and music printouts for each of the songs we cover, as well as additional activities and games as they apply. Students should have access to a ukulele for practice.
