I am also an entrepreneur, small business owner, travel agent, W!SE Financial Literacy Instructor, Serv-Safe Instructor, and I hold a Master's Degree in Education and a Bachelor's Degree in Radiology Health Management. Frecuencia: incluidoDetalles: The teacher will provide verbal feedback to learners during class based on observations of their typing tasks and a completion certificate at the end of the course.
The course includes short lectures, demonstrations, and individual work. Each student progresses at their own pace, with personalized support from the teacher.
Recognize all 26 letters of the English alphabet (lowercase and uppercase) Understand basic sentence structure (uppercase letter at the start, spaces between words, punctuation mark at the end)
Students will need access to the internet and computer with external keyboard.
Students at this young age very often need adult assistance using a computer/keyboard. Since this is a virtual, online class, the teacher is obviously not present in the same room as the learner. The parent/guardian MUST be available during the entire class time to partner with the teacher and assist the learner as needed - setting up devices, logging in to edutyping.com, finding the location of their lessons. Please expect to be at your learner’s side (off-camera) for the first 5-10 minutes of class to make sure they understand how to get started. If you see the learner is able to work independently with the teacher’s instructions, feel free to leave the room after 5-10 minutes. Please continue to be available in your home in case the learner needs to ask questions. This class using edutyping.com. Each student will receive username and password connected directly to the teachers classroom for edutyping.com. This class will utilize Nearpod for some of our lessons, each student will receive a Nearpod code to join the interactive lessons for the class, we will not use Nearpod for each lesson. PDF instructions will be sent to parents after enrolling explaining how to set up devices for the learner.
