It is the end of the 20th century in Europe, in a different timeline than ours. In this world, the Soviet Union did not collapse, and the Cold War continued into the 1990s...and then went hot. World War III. Devastation in Eastern Europe. Somehow, you survived, and now, your ragtag group have to travel through the landscape devastated by the war and find home. Either a new home, or get back to your old home. The learners will get to experience the brand new edition of the table-top roleplaying game Twilight 2000, produced by the Free League game company, using the revolutionary Year Zero Engine game system. No experience of table-top role-playing games is required. Beginners might even find this system easier to learn than DnD. This game is a game of survival, action and skirmishes. Players take the role of war survivors, navigating a collapsing society. The week of November 1st, the present learners will design their characters and decide how their characters ended up together in the chaos after World War III. The week of November 8th, the learners consult the map, decide which hex to travel to on the map, and experience any encounters. The week of November 15th, the learners consult the map, decide which hex to travel to on the map independently of previous encounters, and resolve potential new encounters. The week of November 22nd, the learners may decide to build a base somewhere on the map, in a hex that has been marked safe. Again, this decision can be made independently of participating in previous sessions. Twilight 2000 is excellent for an Ongoing class. The game has a sandbox nature. Thus, players during session 5 are not tied down by the decisions made by the players of session 4, but are free to explore some completely different part of the world. A new player starting with session 4 can be someone randomly met on the road, a survivor like the others. Also, character creation is much faster than in DnD. In DnD, it takes a new player about an hour, if not more, to create a new character. In Twilight 2000, it takes closer to 15-20 minutes, because the rule-system is fast and easy to learn. Note that a player does not have to be present on class 1 or 2. The learners who are present on those classes get to make certain decisions re: initial base design and the first mystery, but each mystery is a stand alone story, so it is easy to join later and still get to be involved in how to develop the base and participate in new mysteries. Thus, if a learner joins after week 4 or even later, we can build a character together quickly and then jump straight in, as the game system is easy to learn.

Orientación para padres
This class is a role-playing game about the aftermath of World War 3. The characters may have to make difficult choices about whom to trust and not to trust. If this was a movie, it would be calibrated to PG-13 in terms of how graphic the imaginary would be, and the GM will calibrate the appropriate level together with the learners. It is an action focused skirmish game, at about the level of Star Wars: The Mandalorian.
